Former Ohio State safety Malik Hooker out for season with a torn ACL, MCL

Former Ohio State and current Indianapolis Colts safety Malik Hooker will miss the rest of the season after suffering a torn ACL and MCL against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday.

That night, Hooker shared a message with fans promising to return.

Hooker’s injury occurred in the second quarter while chasing Jaguars wide receiver Allen Hurns down the sideline. He took a low, blindside hit to the knee and had to leave the game. Tests afterwards concluded Hooker, the 15th-pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, had a torn ACL and MCL. His impressive rookie campaign (3 interceptions and 13 tackles) was sadly over.
