Jake Butt has a funny last name. And plays a funny football position (tight end) given that last name.
But sometimes the name and the position can get screwed up. KRDO, a Denver news station, made the unfortunate mistake of listing the former Michigan tight end as a “tight butt” while showing a clip from an interview this week. Butt is a rookie with the Denver Broncos.

Is this a new football position, or are they commenting on his appearance? pic.twitter.com/LiMu1PE7cU

Butt, who had 138 catches and 1,646 receiving yards at Michigan, tore his ACL in the Orange Bowl at the end of the 2016 season and has yet to make his NFL debut. He is currently listed on the Broncos’ injured reserve list.
