Former LSU QB Brandon Harris can’t believe Les Miles hasn’t been hired by another program: ‘It’s absurd’

A couple days after former longtime LSU head coach Les Miles revealed that he received no job offers during the coaching carousel of the last month, one former player expressed his shock at the situation.

In an appearance on the Tim Fletcher Show, former Tigers quarterback Brandon Harris had some bold words for Miles’ predicament.

Miles went 114-34 in 12 seasons as the head man in Baton Rouge, leading the Tigers to one national championship and an appearance in another title game. He won the SEC Championship twice.

Harris played under Miles from 2014 until the coach was fired early in the 206 season. He broke out as a freshman and showed flashes of dynamism, but he didn’t further progress much for the Tigers. Harris transferred to North Carolina, where he played this past season.

Miles, who now works as an analyst for ESPN as well as hosts his own podcast, has repeatedly expressed his desire to return to the sidelines.
