Former LSU OL Andrew Whitworth visits elementary school, donates 550 bicycles to children

The holiday season is upon us, which also means it’s the season of giving. And one former LSU football player gave back to the community in a huge way on Tuesday afternoon.

Andrew Whitworth, who currently is an offensive lineman for the Los Angeles Rams, visited Grape Street Elementary School in Los Angeles and made an incredible gesture. The former Tigers lineman donated 550 bicycles and helmets to students at the school.

Tuesday was also Whitworth’s 36th birthday. He played for LSU from 2002-05, then for the Cincinnati Bengals from 2006-16. He is currently in his first season with the Rams.
