Former Baylor receiver Josh Gordon says DB ‘couldn’t hold my jock strap’

Former Baylor wide receiver Josh Gordon has wasted absolutely no time getting back into peak trash-talking form.

He said that Green Bay cornerback Damarious Randall “couldn’t hold his jock strap”, and was lucky to have faced the Browns who have several “disadvantages”.

While this is pretty clearly a case of throwing your team under the bus, it isn’t exactly dishonest. The Browns are bad. Anyone who has knowledge of the NFL knows that the Browns are bad. There’s an element of blaming your team here, sure, but it’s technically correct, the Browns do have several disadvantages as a team.

It would be wise for Gordon to not speak as earnestly after his first game back in the NFL, though. His single catch on the day was for a touchdown, but unless he’s looking for a trade some time soon, it might not be wise to tell the rest of his teammates that they’re a potential “disadvantage”.
