One of the most unfortunate ocurrances of the 2016 season in the SEC was when Eddie Jackson broke his leg against Texas A&M.
He still managed an interception and 24 tackles his senior season, but it wasn’t near the six interceptions he had in 2015.
The Bears decided to give him a shot when they took him in the fourth round of the 2017 NFL Draft. Sunday it paid off with an interception and fumble return of 75-plus yards. It turns out that’s an NFL record.

The interceptions should come as no surpise to Alabama fans. He owns the Crimson Tide’s record for career interception return yards with 303 accumulated over nine interceptions.
