The USC Trojans are a 13.5-point favorite against visiting Utah on Saturday, so most expect the Trojans to claim a victory.
That sentiment was reflected on ESPN’s College GameDay when all four of the pickers–Desmond Howard, Lee Corso, Kirk Herbstreit and guest picker Gene Wojciechowski, who was dressed like former president James Madison since the crew was in Harrisonburg, Virginia for the Villanova-James Madison contest–selected the Trojans to win.
However, Corso also warned that this could be a trap game for USC.
Utah was the opponent for USC quarterback Sam Darnold’s first career start in 2016 in Salt Lake City, a game the Trojans lost 31-27. After that loss, the Trojans and Darnold ripped off 13 consecutive wins, a streak which was snapped two weeks ago at Washington State.
The Trojans will look to exact revenge Saturday.
