Cleveland County District Attorney Greg Mashburn has scheduled a news conference for 2 p.m. CT Thursday to announce whether Oklahoma running back Rodney Anderson will be charged regarding a rape accusation, per The Oklahoman’s Nolan Clay.
Police began investigating Anderson, the Sooners’ leading rusher, on Dec. 4 after a former Oklahoma student reported Anderson raped her Nov. 14.
Anderson, 21, has denied doing so.
Oklahoma faces Georgia in the Rose Bowl on Jan. 1.
