Kansas guard Devonte’ Graham made his case for Big 12 Player of the Year loud and clear on Saturday.

The Jayhawks guard averaged 24.5, 5.5 rebounds and 4 assists last week and helped his team clinch at least a share of the Big 12 regular-season title — as if there was ever a doubt.

While the Big 12 Player of the Year award is still up in the air, Graham was named the conference’s Player of the Week for his stellar performances against Oklahoma and Texas Tech.

Former Mississippi State transfer Malik Newman was tabbed as the Big 12’s Co-Newcomer of the Week.

Newman averaged 16 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists last week, while shooting 58.8 percent from the field.

Graham and Newman were essential to Kansas’ 104-74 win over Oklahoma on Feb. 19 and 74-72 win over the Red Raiders on Saturday.

Kansas enters the last week of the regular season with a 2-game lead in the Big 12 standings. The Jayhawks face Texas at 9 p.m. ET on Monday in their next outing.
