In a tweet from ESPN’s Mark Schlabach, the attorney for Deandre Ayton released a statement on behalf of the embattled Arizona forward who was recently implicated in the FBI probe.
In the statement, Ayton’s parents relayed an ardent support of their son and indicated he was never involved in any payment scheme — and that the told the FBI as much.

Miller won’t coach tonight as Arizona takes on Oregon. Ayton, however, will suit up for the Wildcats.
