Penn State is on a collision course with Ohio State in a game that will have giant implications for the Big Ten title and College Football Playoff races. Looks like ESPN’s Danny Kanell isn’t projecting them to go far.
1. Bama-worst resume in top 10
2. Clemson-best resume period
4. PSU-enjoy while it lasts

“enjoy while it lasts” is a pretty unmistakable message, as is that No. 4 ranking.
Penn State was No. 2 in the AP Top 25 before beating Michigan, and that position likely isn’t changing after the win. His critique of Alabama, “worst resume in top 10,” is likely part of the reason he doesn’t seem too high on Penn State. The Nittany Lions haven’t have a particularly strong schedule so far, as its 42-13 win Saturday night over Michigan was the first tough test they faced. James Franklin’s team has mostly rolled easily over inferior opponents though, with a 20-19 win over Iowa the only close game Penn State has played.
Penn State has the chance to quiet any critics on Saturday against Ohio State. That game will be televised at 3:30 p.m. on FOX.
