Dan Dakich rips Michigan State, Mark Dantonio for playing LJ Scott

Dan Dakich is at it again with Michigan State. Last year, Dakich said “nobody whines like Sparty” and that Michigan State students couldn’t get accepted into Michigan.

Now Dakich is going after the football program, specifically over LJ Scott. The Spartans running back was arrested earlier this week for driving with a suspended license, the seventh charge of that nature, according to the Lansing State Journal. On Friday, Michigan State coach Mark Dantonio said Scott would play against Indiana on Saturday.

Scott didn’t play in the Spartans’ first series, though he got into the game on the second series. That didn’t make Dakich happy.

“LJ Scott of MSU 7 arrests in a year..plays!” Dakich tweeted. “What happened to coaches being molders/builders of men? Now they are simply enablers..sad.”

Dakich, a basketball sportscaster  known for getting into Twitter fights, didn’t stop there.

“But LJ Scott missed ‘the 1st series’…that MSU football coach is one tough cookie!”

Michigan State’s LJ Scott plays, prompting Dan Dakich criticism

Dakich continued to rip Spartans fans, with some fans correcting Dakich for his incorrect information. Dakich later apologized, as it was Scott’s seventh charge.

“My bad..7th charge!! Just going by TV.”

“Who to believe..homer MSU media/fans or ABC Broadcast..I choose the unbiased broadcast.”

Michigan State is 5-1 this season and ranked No. 18 for the Saturday game against Indiana.
