Ohio State football has been rolling since its loss to Oklahoma and has a chance to make re-establish itself as a College Football Playoff favorite this week with a matchup against No. 2 Penn State.
Colin Cowherd said Tuesday that he thinks the Buckeyes will beat the Nittany Lions, but he didn’t stop there. The Fox Sports host has Ohio State topping Alabama in the national championship game.
"Ohio State is going to end up in the Championship Game against Alabama and they're going to house them"

Ohio State literally looks different than everybody else in the Big Ten. They’re just bigger up front. They’re longer. They’re faster. I’ll say it again, I picked Ohio State to win the national championship. I think they’re going to beat Penn State by 7-10 points and I think they’re going to end up in the championship game and I think they’re probably going to end up against Alabama and I think they’re going to house them. I don’t think Alabama is going to move the ball on Ohio State.
Colin Cowherd on Ohio State
This is obviously a bold prediction given that Ohio State still needs to prove itself against Penn State, survive the rest of its Big Ten slate and top likely Wisconsin in the Big Ten Championship just to make the College Football Playoff.
Alabama has also looked very much like its usual juggernaut self, winning every game on its schedule by double digits. And yet, we’ve seen Ohio State run over Alabama in the Playoff after an early loss in the regular season before, so maybe Cowherd isn’t too off-base here.
