This anti-Alabama take isn’t too much of a surprise, considering the source.
FS1 host Colin Cowherd has repeatedly picked against the Crimson Tide in the past, and he’s continuing that trend this season.
Many are picking Alabama to not only make the College Football Playoff this season, but are also choosing them as the favorite to win the national championship. Cowherd has the Tide playing for the title, but he thinks one particular team will take them down.
“I picked Ohio State to win the national championship, I think they’re going to beat Penn State by 7-10 points and I think they’re going to end up in the championship game,” Cowherd said on “The Herd” on Tuesday. “I think they’re probably going to end up against Alabama, and I think they’re going to house them. I really do. I don’t think Alabama’s going to move the ball on Ohio State.”
In order for Cowherd’s prediction to come true, Ohio State, which is ranked No. 6 in the country, will have to win its matchup with No. 2 Penn State this Saturday.
