Dixon’s recruitment appeared to be over in June when he committed to the Tennessee Volunteers. But with uncertainty
surrounding the status of now-former Volunteers coach Butch Jones following a 3-3 start, he de-committed shortly after Tennessee
dropped a 15-9 heartbreaker to South Carolina on October 14. Jones would eventually be fired on November 12, a day after a
humiliating 50-17 loss at Missouri.
Dixon officially visited Clemson last month and has one final official visit lined up to Oklahoma State starting Friday
before signing with his school of choice on December 20.
According to 247Sports’ composite rankings, he is the No. 7 all-purpose running back in the class of 2018.
