Chris Paul named to Wake Forest Sports Hall of Fame

Houston Rockets point guard Chris Paul is among five newly elected members of the Wake Forest Sports Hall of Fame, the school announced on Friday morning.

Paul is joined by track and field athlete Michelle Sikes, field hockey All-American Lauren Crandall, football All-American Steve Vallos and golfer John Gerring.

Paul played two seasons at Wake Forest, in 2003-04 and 2004-05, leading the Demon Deacons to a 48-16 record and two NCAA Tournament appearances. He was the ACC Rookie of the Year as a freshman and earned first-team All-ACC honors as a sophomore.

The five new Hall of Fame members will be inducted during ceremonies on Feb. 17, 2018.
