Chase Winovich left Michigan’s game against Penn State Saturday night with an undisclosed injury, but later returned.
The defensive lineman left during the third quarter, and Michigan radio says Winovich may have banged knees with a Penn State player. He returned in the fourth quarter.
Winovich has been a big part of Michigan’s fearsome front seven in 2017, and missing him won’t help against a Penn State team that had more points and yards against the Wolverines in the first half than any other team had in an entire game.
