Tenth-ranked Oklahoma State will pay a visit to Austin to face the Texas Longhorns on Saturday, and one panel of experts like the Cowboys’ chances of moving to 6-1.
CBS Sports had Oklahoma State as the consensus pick to win the Saturday morning showdown between the Cowboys and Longhorns. All but two of the seven experts went with the No. 10 team in the country.
Chip Patterson and Dennis Dodd were the only experts to pick Texas in the contest.
If history is any indicator, Mike Gundy and the Cowboys should feel confident heading into Darrell K. Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium in Week 8. Texas, however, does own a 24-7 all-time edge in the series.
The Oklahoma State-Texas game will kickoff at 11 a.m. CT on Oct. 21. The game can be seen on ABC.
