The small exodus of players from Kansas State continued Sunday with the departure of offensive lineman Breontae Matthews.
Matthews, a redshirt junior, announced his intention to leave the program. He sent a message to JUCO Football Frenzy detailing his reasons:

Matthews is a big body, even for an offensive lineman, at 6-foot-5 and 321 pounds. He redshirted the 2016 season at Kansas State after transferring in from Fullerton College.
Wildcats head coach Bill Snyder made it clear during his Signing Day press conference that he wasn’t a fan of the perceived recent rise in transfers. Matthews’ departure probably won’t help matters.
