Baylor C Leonard Allen taking indefinite leave of absence due to ‘personal medical challenges’

The Baylor Bears will be without one of its two 2017 basketball enrollees for the foreseeable future.

Leonard Allen, a 7-foot JUCO center transfer set to begin his Power 5 career with Baylor during the upcoming season, will take an indefinite leave of absence due to personal medical challenges, as reported by ESPN’s Jeff Goodman.

The older brother of former Texas Longhorns standout and current Brooklyn Nets rookie Jarrett Allen, Allen appeared to be in place as the Bears backup center behind Jo Lual-Acuil Jr.
