The Baylor Bears have landed a big time transfer according to Jeff Goodman of ESPN: former Palm Beach State shooting guard Darius Allen.
Baylor has landed 6-4 athletic/skilled wing Darius Allen of Palm Beach State, source told ESPN. Has two years of eligibility.

Allen is 6-4 and weighs 185 pounds, and has some unnatural skills for his size. He still has two years of eligibility left, so he’ll be able to contribute for a significant amount of time after he gets on campus.
Baylor should be very excited about landing this transfer. The Bears finished the 2016-17 season 27-8 total with a 12-6 mark in conference play. In the NCAA Tournament, the Bears took out New Mexico State and USC before falling to South Carolina by 20 points in the Sweet Sixteen. The Bears won 15 games in a row to start the season before falling to West Virginia, 89-68.
Landing Allen is a fairly big team for a Baylor squad that lost Rico Gathers and Taurean Prince. There’s some gaps to fill talent-wise, but veteran head coach Scott Drew still has a while to figure it out.
