— John Werner (@JohnWernerTrib) October 11, 2017
Jacobs, a junior and a Waco, Texas native, has played in four games for the Bears this season — recording a total of 3 tackles.
Jacobs played in all 13 games in 2016, making three starts at defensive end. He had a season-high 3 tackles in Baylor’s 62-22 loss to TCU last November.
Jacobs has served as a reserve defensive end in 2017. He is listed as a backup to senior defensive end K.J. Smith on the Baylor depth chart.
