Baylor fans proud of team’s effort in gritty comeback

Baylor fell to West Virginia 38-36 after a wild comeback attempt led by freshman Charlie Brewer.

The Bears fell behind early, but narrowly lost again. The future is bright for a Baylor team playing a metric ton of freshmen, but the growing pains are tough. The Bears are winless, but even though the team is struggling, fans can see the progress.

Here are their comments, edited for clarity and grammar.

Curtis Mcclain:   Very proud. They didn’t give up. Just matter of time. They got the right coach.

Wayne Terry:   What an effort in the 4th! Let’s build on that! Sic em!

Ryan Moy:   i still love Zach Smith but, as many noted, our OL can’t protect him.

Chris Ditto:  They will have a hiccup every once in a while but they are getting better. Keep the faith everyone.

Stephen Simcik:   Charlie almost got them!
