Baylor WR Denzel Mims earns PFF All-Big 12 second-team honors

Denzel Mims established himself as one of Baylor’s top wide receivers during the 2017 season.

The sophomore from Daingerfield, Texas is now being recognized for his 1,087 receiving-yard, 8 touchdown performance this fall.

Mims was named to Pro Football Focus’ All-Big 12 second-team on offense Saturday. He was the lone Baylor player on offense to receive the honor.

Mim’s grade of 84.2 was the 4th highest of any player and the highest of any wide receiver to make the cut. He caught for a season-high 3 touchdowns against Oklahoma on Sept. 23.

Baylor will begin the 2018 season with a home game against Abilene Christian on Saturday, Sept. 1.
