Baylor’s 2018 recruiting class boasts insane speed

The Baylor Bears and Matt Rhule have a pretty good class coming in for 2018. According to Gerry Hamilton of ESPN, the guys they’re going to have for the next few years have some insane speed.

That’s a lot of guys with serious wheels. In order to get Baylor back on track, Rhule will need to rebuild a Baylor program that was decimated by transfers and recruits decommitting. This class is the first step on the road to former gridiron glory, but it still might be a while before the Bears return to the levels of dominance they enjoyed in recent history.

All of these players are still young, and while they might play early and often, they’ll be inexperienced. In conference play, that experience counts for a lot. It won’t happen overnight, but if there’s anyone that can get Baylor back on track it’s Matt Rhule, especially with the foundation he’s laying in recruiting.
