After a disappointing start to SEC play, Auburn softball is looking to bounce back with a series win over its in-state rival this weekend.
The Tigers host Alabama for a three-game home series, beginning on Friday evening (6 CT).
In all, Auburn and Alabama have played 65 times and the Tide have a significant edge in the series (45-20). As frustrating as that’s been historically, Auburn has won five of its last six meetings against Alabama, including a 2-1 series edge in Tuscaloosa last season.
Pitchers Kaylee Carlson, Makayla Martin and Chardonnay Harris are listed as the projected starters in the circle this weekend.
