Auburn baseball: Scores, updates, analysis from opening weekend at Plainsman Park

AUBURN, Ala. — Auburn baseball will start its season with 18 straight games on The Plains, and it’s finally time for opening weekend.

After a tough break in 2017, Butch Thompson’s ball club is back with more depth and perhaps even more determination.

In past seasons, Auburn baseball has out together a 53-16 record on opening day, and now the Tigers will take on Longwood University.
