FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Welcome to SEC Country’s daily Arkansas Borderline Erotic podcast, the most-listened-to Razorbacks podcast in the country. In this episode, John Nabors explains why the Bret Bielema experiment has not worked at Arkansas when there were such high hopes when he arrived.
SEC Country launched the Borderline Erotic Podcast on Aug. 29, 2016. It is named after the colorful way Coach Bielema described how he felt after Arkansas defeated Texas in the 2014 Texas Bowl.
Here is a rundown of some of the topics discussed in the 275th episode of the Borderline Erotic Podcast:
It’s surprising Bret Bielema hasn’t worked out at Arkansas
Nabors started the podcast by discussing the reasons why Bielema hasn’t been able to find success at Arkansas. When he was hired in 2012, it seemed his style and philosophy were perfectly matched with the Razorbacks program. It was a rough adjustment in Bielema’s first two seasons, but it seemed that he had it all going in the right direction. Since then, he has regressed each season, while getting further away from what made him successful at Wisconsin. Lack of player development and identity have been the key factors in holding him back.
Nonsense: U.S. Soccer fails to qualify for the World Cup
In the nonsensical part of the podcast, Nabors brought up the nonsensical story of the U.S. soccer team failing to qualify for the World Cup.
