Arkansas Razorbacks podcast: Where it went wrong for Bret Bielema

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Welcome to SEC Country’s  daily Arkansas Borderline Erotic podcast, the most-listened-to Razorbacks podcast in the country. In this episode, John Nabors is joined by SEC Country writer Eric Bolin as they look back to the first half of the season and discuss what went wrong for coach Bret Bielema.

SEC Country launched the Borderline Erotic Podcast on Aug. 29, 2016. It is named after the colorful way Bielema  described how he felt after Arkansas defeated Texas in the 2014 Texas Bowl.

Here is a rundown of some of the topics discussed in the 284th episode of the Borderline Erotic Podcast:

Why it’s not working for Bret Bielema at Arkansas

Nabors started the podcast with Bolin by looking back to the first six games of the season and why it’s gone so horribly wrong. Bielema knew going into his fifth year that it was going to be an uphill battle. Losing key components to his starting defense, as well as his All-SEC running back, were going to make it tough. But no one would have dreamed it would be this bad for the Razorbacks. The Hogs are not even competitive in their losses against SEC foes. In fact, Arkansas is giving up an average of 41.1 points per game to conference opponents. Where did it all go wrong for Bielema?

Nonsense: Arkansas State coach body bags Arkansas

In the nonsensical part of the podcast, Nabors brings up the nonsensical story of Arkansas State coach Blake Anderson’s joke at the expense of the Hogs.
