Arkansas Razorbacks podcast: Chad Morris making splashes in recruiting

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark . — Welcome to SEC Country’s  daily Arkansas Full Tilt Boogie podcast, the most-listened-to Razorbacks podcast in the country. In this episode, John Nabors is joined by Trent Shadid as they discuss how new Arkansas coach Chad Morris is handling the 2018 recruiting class.

The Full Tilt Boogie Podcast is named after the way football coach Chad Morris described his up-tempo offense when first coming to Arkansas last week.

Here is a rundown of the topics discussed in the Full Tilt Boogie Podcast, marking the 320th episode of Nabors’ Razorbacks podcast:

Arkansas is hitting recruiting trail in big way

Nabors started the podcast with Shadid discussing the latest updates in the 2018 recruiting class for the Razorbacks. Since arriving at Arkansas, Morris has put an emphasis on recruiting the state of Texas. Not only is he making an impact in Texas, he is also gaining the attention of Arkansas recruits as well. The early signing period ends in a week and Morris needed to close some guys down early. If he can successfully continue this recruiting trend, the Hogs will be in great shape.

Nonsense: Jimmy Carter tribute

In the nonsensical part of the podcast, Nabors brings up the nonsensical story of Arkansas sportswriter Jimmy Carter leaving the beat.
