In NBC Sports’ latest Player of the Year power rankings, Arizona State’s Tra Holder ranks third on the list.

Trae Young of Oklahoma tops the list, followed by Duke’s Marvin Bagley.

Holder gets a boost to third thanks in part to Arizona State’s massive upset of the Kansas Jayhawks on the road on Saturday.

From NBC Sports:

Tra Holder has been the best player for the most surprising team in college basketball this season. He’s averaging 21.2 points, 5.2 assists and 5.6 boards while shooting 46.3 percent from three on more than six attempts per game. He had 29 points and seven assists in a win at Phog Allen on Sunday. He put up 40 points on Xavier. He’s having a tremendous season.

Here’s highlight’s from Holder in the Sun Devils’ win over KU:

Holder is the only Pac-12 player currently ranked in the top 10 by NBC Sports’ power rankings, and you can bet that Holder will be a solid bet to stay there after Arizona State’s impressive start to the campaign.
