Arizona falls to No. 19 in AP Top 25

It’s no secret that the Arizona Wildcats have had a tumultuous week and it’s affected the team’s ranking.

First, Arizona guard Allonzo Trier was ruled ineligible due to testing positive for a banned substance and then the bombshell report dropped that Wildcats coach Sean Miller allegedly paid star forward Deandre Ayton $100,000 to attend the school.

With controversy swirling around the school, Arizona lost to Oregon last week without Miller on the sideline. As a result, Arizona dropped five spots in the latest Associated Press top 25.

The Wildcats (22-7) are ranked No. 19 in week 17’s top 25.
