All-American P Issac Power commits to Baylor

Baylor football-Kicker hit-Punter

Baylor has had a bumpy road on special teams in 2017, but the Bears will have some reinforcement for the 2018 season.

U.S. Army All-American punter Issac Power announced his commitment to play at Baylor on Wednesday. Baylor was the only Division-I school that Power had received an offer from at the time of his commitment.

Power, a native of Parker, Col., was ranked the No. 5 punter prospect in America by Chris Sailer Kicking.

Baylor lost starting punter Drew Galitz for the remainder of the season after suffering a non-contact knee injury against Kansas State on Sept. 30. Power won’t be putting on a Baylor uniform until next season, but he could provide serious depth to a special teams unit that should have Galitz back for his senior season as well.

Power did not have a star-rating, but the 247Sports composite rankings. You can view his highlights from his junior season at Ponderosa High School below.
