Apparently, Alabama students had some fun with Butch Jones.
The Tennessee coach entered the game Saturday against the Crimson Tide in a tough spot. The hot-seat talk surrounding his name had heated up in recent weeks during the Vols’ 3-3 start. Alabama students understood this, of course. And they did their part to rib Jones and Tennessee at Bryant-Denny with a “Keep Butch Jones” chant, as relayed in the reports below.

The sarcastic “Keep Butch Jones” movement isn’t a good sign for the Vols coach. An Alabama fan was seen with a “Keep Butch Jones” T-shirt on Saturday, and South Carolina fans had similar T-shirts during the Gamecocks’ victory against the Volunteers last Saturday.
So yeah, not a banner weekend for Jones or the Tennessee football program.
