Former Alabama receiver Julio Jones is on his way to a Hall of Fame career in the NFL, and Sunday night was another step in that direction.
Jones became the second fastest receiver in NFL history to hit the 8,000-yard plateau against the Patriots during Sunday Night Football. He’s currently eighth on the active receiving yardage list.

The Falcons, as a whole, have had an abysmal game vs the Pats. They trailed 17-0 at halftime and quarterback Matt Ryan had just 92 passing yards. Jones himself had just 30 yards before the break.
In his career, Jones, 28, came into the game with 7,977 yards and 40 touchdowns in 84 games with the Falcons.
