Alabama remains the undisputed best team in the country, according to the FWAA-NFF Super 16 poll.
The poll is published weekly and features an esteemed voting panel made up of select media and College Football Hall of Fame members.
The Crimson Tide received every first-place vote for the second consecutive week.
Alabama will take the ranking into a bye week. It defeated Tennessee 45-7 Saturday.
Georgia was idle over the weekend but fell one stop. This was due to Penn State’s 42-13 win over Michigan.
The Bulldogs will return to action next Saturday against Florida with a chance of reclaiming the No. 2 spot.
Auburn and LSU are the only other SEC teams to receive votes.
Auburn is 19th among teams getting votes, and LSU is 21st.
