Seniors Kiana Winston and Nickie Guerrero, and freshman Lexi Graber, scored consecutive 9.90s on balance beam as the University of Alabama gymnastics team closed out its meet at Auburn with a 197.300-195.400 victory on Friday night.
The team score was a season high for the Crimson Tide.
“The ladies just never lost their grit, their fight, their focus,” Alabama coach Dana Duckworth said in a release. “There were certain things that weren’t perfect, but our ladies continued to fight. There were so many highs in what we did tonight , but what I love is that they continued to trust themselves. It was one thing after another and they continued to believe in themselves and do it for their sister.”

The 49.400 on beam was a Alabama’s best score on the event this season.
