2019 OT prospect commits to Iowa State

Iowa-State-Matt-Campbell-Out-Tennessee

The Iowa State Cyclones picked up a local prospect in West Des Moines offensive tackle Jake Remsburg, who announced his commitment to the program on Twitter.

Snagging a commitment from Remsburg is important for Matt Campbell and staff, especially with the early signing period drawing close. Remsburg is a 2019 prospect, but this spot on their big board filled in with pencil will free the Cyclone coaching staff up to look elsewhere. Plus, there’s just something good and wholesome about getting a commit from your backyard. If he pans out as expected, he’s a hometown hero.

Remsburg is the first commit for Matt Campbell in the 2019 recruiting class. The Cyclones have a total of 18 commitments in the 2018 class.
