Kansas-Seton Hall preview

The Kansas Jayhawks, one of just three remaining No. 1 seeds left in the NCAA Tournament after No. 16 UMBC’s stunning upset of No. 1 overall seed Virginia, look to advance to the Sweet 16 with a win over the Seton Hall Pirates.

Kansas earned its berth to the second round with a win over Penn.

As for Seton Hall, it took down NC State in the first round.

Kansas will likely get back the services of big man Udoka Azubuike, who’ll likely play 15-20 minutes in the game after missing the Big 12 Tournament and only seeing three minutes of action against Penn.

“He practiced today,” Self said on Friday, according to ESPN. “We went for an hour, and he was out there the majority of the minutes and actually looked pretty good. Timing may be off a little bit, and conditioning, but we certainly — unless there’s some form of setback — we certainly anticipate him being available tomorrow in a way that you can actually play him to try to win the game.”

Defensively, the Jayhawks will like to stop Khadeem Carrington, who scored 26 points in Seton Hall’s first round win.
