Browns lose tiebreaker for pole position in NFL draft

The race to the bottom will require pure incompetency this season, it appears.

Despite their struggles, the Browns lost pole position in the draft this weekend. The win-less Giants’ strength of schedule slots them No. 1 overall. The win-less 49ers comes in third.

After picking first a year ago, the Browns weren’t supposed to be in this position again. Yes it’s early, but the team has shown no signs of a revival.

But neither have the Giants or 49ers, which could make it a tight race.

Cleveland has five picks in the first two rounds. More on their draft currency and standing can be found on here.

Pro Football Focus pessimistic about Bengals offensive line progress

Pro Football Focus still thinks the Cincinnati Bengals offensive line will be bad this season.  This seems to be predicated on two things: Ohio State rookie Billy Price being no better than last year’s center and Trey Hopkins both being the starting right guard and being no better than he was a year ago.  I’m not sure I agree...
