The University of Dayton provided an update on the progress of the first phase of the UD Arena transformation on Friday.
UD Arena Director Scott DeBolt provided quick rundown of what has been done in the first three weeks.
Week one: Removed telescopic seats; took down the center-hung scoreboard; removed the crow’s nest; and started removing the 100-level seats.
Week two: Continued removing the 100-level seats; started removing the 200-level seats; and tented the Tartan floor.
Week three: Started to remove Tartan floor; finished removing 200-level seats; and started on some basic infrastructure.
