Background/Overview: Teaberries Country Café was once owned by John and Connie Tehan. Dawn Beedy was a frequent customer at the Café and its adjoining Gift Shoppe. She came to know the owners personally through her regular visits. In 2009, the Tehan's were very eager to sell both businesses so they could retire. They persistently sought, and negotiated for months with, Dawn and her husband Bill to purchase the estate.

Bill co-owns a local custom woodworking company and Dawn assists him. Finally, Dawn and Bill acquired Teaberries and Heart of Country Gift Shoppe in September of 2009. Since then, their new domain has received many beautification awards from Clark County affiliates in favor of the well-maintained property.

The Café manager is Chef Sheila and the Gift Shoppe manager is LaTisha. They feature the popular home-cooked country menu and all the quality handmade products.
