SUBER (nee Aguirre), Lilia
Age 91, of Beavercreek OH, passed away peacefully Friday, December 18, 2020, with her children by her side. Lilia was born February 25, 1929, to Lino and Lucia (Garcia) Aguirre while Lino was working in Los Angeles, CA. At the age of 7, the family returned to Encarnación de Diaz, Jalisco, Mexico, where Lilia completed her education. The family returned to Los Angeles and she got a job at Honeywell where she met and married the love of her life, Leo J. Suber. They eventually moved to Beavercreek in 1963. Lilia worked for and retired from Beavercreek Schools as a cafeteria lady, where she loved talking to the children every day. Known as the "Christmas Stocking Lady," she hand-crafted over 150 felt stockings, embroidered and decorated with beads and sequin, and gifted all of them to family and friends. A sweet, beautiful soul, Lilia was a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, Godmother, and friend. Now reunited in Heaven with Leo, her parents, and 10 siblings, she is survived by her children, Bill, Desirée (Doug) Tryloff, Robert (Amy), and David (Mary); grandchildren, Brandon (fiancée Jessica), Alida,
Matthew (Caitlyn), Leah (Michael), Jared (Trisha), Arin, Chris (fiancée Miland), Isabella (fiancé Noah), and Samuel; great-grandchildren, Liam, Lillian, April, Harper, Olive, Greyson, and Josephine; Goddaughters Annette Mendez and Lucia Aguirre; and many friends, in-laws, nieces, and nephews. The family extends its appreciation to Deacon Gerald Dupree who visited and gave her communion every week; and to her long-time doctors, Catherine Sargent, D.O. and Greggory Volk, D.O., whom she loved. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
