RICHARDS, Elizabeth A.

79 of Springfield passed away December 30, 2020, in her residence. She was born in Mansfield, Ohio, on October 26, 1941, the daughter of Harding and Virginia Lemon. Betsy was a member of the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church where she taught Sunday School, Bible School and the Luther League and was on the Church Council. Betsy was also a member of the Springfield and Ohio writers' clubs. She was also known as a poet. Betsy was preceded in death by her parents; son and daughter-in-law Bryan and Cindy Richards; and sister Carol Lemon. Survivors include her husband of 62 years Ronald A. Richards, whom she married February 1, 1958; daughters

Roberta (Michael) Keefer and Linda (Jeff) Lisch; brothers Keith (Mary Ellen) Lemon and Lee Lemon; sister Barbara (John) Steinberger; 8 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews. Services to honor Betsy will be Wednesday at 11:00AM in the

Richards, Raff & Dunbar Memorial Home with visitation beginning at 10:00AM. Burial to follow in Garlough Cemetery, Pitchin. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1500 Broadway Springfield, Ohio 45504.
