PARSONS, Ruth Beverly
Ruth Beverly Parsons (née Chubbuck) died peacefully on December 27, 2020, in West Chester, Ohio, at the age of 94.
Beverly is survived by her Son, Thomas (Michelle) Parsons, Grandson, Mark (Michelle)
Parsons, Grandson, Richard (Jenny) Parsons, Granddaughter, Laura (fiancé Sean Demme) Parsons, Great-Grandchildren, Ellis Parsons, Zehr Parsons,
Sister, Janet (Mick) Vandeymark, Nephew, James (Judy)
Parsons, Special Friends, Sue and Ed Bezdziecki, Loretta
Parsons and many Nieces, Nephews, and Friends. She is preceded in death by her Husband, Vincent Parsons, Young Son, Mark Parsons, her Parents, Frank and Clara Chubbuck, Sisters, Francis, Gertrude, Roberta and Brothers, Robert and Bruce, and of course, Bev would want to make sure we give special mention to a most loyal companion, her Dog, Buddy.
Bev was born in Binghamton, New York, on March 10, 1926. Here is where she met and married the love of her life,
Vincent Parsons. They were married on February 12, 1949, and lived in Olean, Utica, and Binghamton, New York. In 1984, Bev and Vince moved to Ohio. Over the next 36 years, Bev devoted her time to being Grandmother to her three grandchildren, which she considered to be the greatest privilege of her life and which they consider such an important part of theirs.
Beverly was a talented artist, sharing several of her paintings with family and friends over the years. She also worked at several photography studios in Binghamton, where she was often one their favorite models. She was a caring lady who loved deeply and was extremely passionate about her family and friends. She was a member of the St. Maximillian Kolbe Catholic Church in West Chester, Ohio, where she was active in the Ladies Auxiliary, Choruses, and a model in the Yearly Fashion Shows.
A memorial service is scheduled for Friday, January 8, 2021, at 11:00 AM at St. Maximillian Kolbe Catholic Church in West Chester, Ohio. Due to COVID measures, there will not be a
visitation and the service will be limited to close family and friends. In the Spring of 2021, a Celebration of Life will take place in Binghamton, New York, where Bev will be laid to rest beside her Husband, Vince and Son, Mark. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the ASPCA, on their website at
www.aspca.org. The family would like to thank the staff of Chesterwood Advanced Therapy Center for their care and
support of Bev over the last few months.
