Lillian Newton passed away on January 27, 2021, at Hospice of Dayton due to the COVID-19

Virus. Lillian was born in

Berea, Kentucky, on June 10, 1937. Her family moved to

Dayton in 1941. She went to

Edison Grade School and Roosevelt High School. She was the Commencement Speaker of her graduating class in 1955. Lillian was preceded in death by her beloved husband James Newton, Sr. in 2000, her father John Cox, her mother Edna Cox Horner, her sister Peggy Pillion, her brother Tony Cox and her nephew Tony Taylor. She is survived by her son James Newton, Jr. and daughter-in-law Rita Newton. She is also

survived by her sister-in-law, Judi Riepenhoff and brother-in-law, Vernon Newton, Jr. Lillian is survived by nieces Val Pillion (John Champa), Kimberly Newton, Dena (Tom) Pierre,

nephews, Bruce (Alice) Pillion, Mike (Dee) Pillion, Tim (Hermetta) Pillion, Woody (Dawn) Taylor and specials friends Clayton and Arlene Fields. Lillian loved people. She was

vice-president for the Moraine Senior Citizens for 14 years. She volunteered throughout the years for her hometown, Moraine, Ohio. She was a member of the Miamisburg Starving Artist Club and Show for 25 years. Private viewing and service for family only will be Wednesday, February 3, 2021, from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Newcomer Funeral Home, North

Dayton Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road. Private burial at
