HIMMELBERG, Maurice

Maurice (Maury, Bud) went to be with his Lord and Savior and reunited with his parents, a brother and a son on November 9, 2021.

Maury is survived by his wife (Pat), a son and a daughter who all loved, respected and admired him deeply. He is also survived and adored by 9

siblings, his children's spouses, his grand and great-grandchildren, Pat's children and grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. He impacted so many lives while he was with us. During the past 2 months of his final battle with cancer it was clear that everyone who ever met Maury felt that he was an extraordinary man and they were blessed to have known him. He was truly a beloved man! Maury spent 33 years working at WPAFB and culminated his career as Director of Engineering. He was ranked as an SES and had too many awarded accomplishments to list. Most notably he was awarded the Presidential Rank of Distinguished Executive in the Oval Office near the end of his career. An intimate service will be held by his siblings in Nebraska. A mass will be performed in his name at his church in Kettering. In lieu of flowers feel free to donate to St. Jude Children's research hospital in his memory.
