Virginia "Ginny"

Virginia (Ginny) Weyman Getter was 104 years old when she passed away Monday,

October 26, 2020, at Bickford of Middletown where she had made her home for past four years. She was the first daughter of Edward and Marie Weyman of Middletown. Her two sisters also lived to be over 100 years old. Virginia was a 1934 graduate of Middletown High School and attend Miami University. She was employed by the Ohio Department of Transportation and in the sales department of Armco Steel Corporation. She volunteered for the Middletown Hospital Auxiliary and she and her husband were avid golfers and long-time members of Wildwood Golf Clubs. They also

belonged to Forest Hills and Browns Run Country Club. She was a Master Bridge player and enjoyed entertaining and was an excellent cook. She served as a deacon at First Presbyterian Church. She is survived by her son, Gary (Lynn) and grandsons Stephen (Carla) of Middletown, Michael (Anita) of Raleigh, N.C., Geoffrey (Jeanne) of Dayton and Douglas (Megan) of Rockville, VA; great-grandchildren Alex (Olivia) Austin,

Courtney, Sam, Matthew, Nathan and Colin and sister Jean Baker of Advance, N.C. Her husband Richard predeceased her in 2004. Private services were held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to First
