Raffaele Sollecito, the ex-boyfriend of Amanda Knox, has a job in television.
Instead of being the subject of news coverage, he is a guest expert weighing in on unsolved crimes for a cable TV show called "The Mystery of the Week," according to USA Today.
But it won't air in the U.S.
NBC News reported the show airs on Tgcom24, a 24-hour cable channel in Italy.
Sollecito made his debut as a guest contributor on an real-life crime show Saturday.
"I have been a victim of a miscarriage of justice, I know the faults of the justice system, what happens in jail and what happens when the media twists the truth," Sollecito told London's The Times newspaper. "The usual experts on these shows have seen these things through a window -- I have lived them."
After a long trial in which both Knox and Sollecito took the stand, the two were convicted of killing Knox's roommate in 2007.
After numerous appeals, the convictions were overturned in 2015.
