Woman who died after striking tree in Springfield identified

The woman who died following a crash last week in Springfield has been identified as Dawn Fahl, 52, of Springfield, according to the Clark County Coroner’s Office.

Fahl struck a tree around 9 a.m. on Nov. 5 in the 1800 block of South Yellow Springs Street, according to Springfield police.

She was taken to Springfield Regional Medical Center, where she was later pronounced dead, police said.

The official cause of death is not yet known, the coroner’s office said.

The crash remains under investigation.
